THE PROCESS

How it works

Trutex is one of the most sustainable school uniforms available – made to last and using recycled and sustainably sourced fabrics by design.

And with RE:FORM, no uniform will ever go to waste.

Parents can now buy approved pre-owned Trutex garments at reduced prices. Reusing items prevents them from going to landfill and significantly reduces our impact on the environment.

Want to know how it all works? It's as easy as 1-2-3:

THE PROCESS

STEP ONE

Parents can donate pre-owned uniforms via collection points in schools, or at their local uniform store (if applicable).

For each Trutex item returned, parents will receive 10% off their next order.

THE PROCESS

STEP TWO

Once received back to Trutex, we review, launder and refurbish the donated items, and then offer them as Trutex approved pre-owned uniform – sold at a 40% discount of its original price. Items will be sold either online or via the local retailer approved by the school.

THE PROCESS

STEP THREE

Uniform that can’t be re-sold will be recycled in the UK to make more great things – like furniture, insulation, or even yarn to make new clothes, completing the sustainability circle.

What parents are saying:

“I think this is a good idea to recycle uniform”
“Very happy with the service”
“Helping families out with the cost of uniform by reusing them is a great idea”
